What if you Fail!?

I had a little discussion with someone the other day and it got me thinking.
Just recently, we were all called lazy. We are obviously not. But one thing is obvious, which most probably would have led to that conclusion.
It is the fact that we get so many good ideas flowing through our minds that would obviously make us 'Blow', but then a little voice inside out heads pops up and asks us the dreaded and decision-altering question....

What if You Fail?

The thought of this alone sends chills that halt every other step we would have taken to push that great idea into a working model. It is the reason most businesses never get started. For some reason, people are so scared of failing that they don't even bother to try
Hence I've decided to challenge us today

What if you fail?

Yeah, you fail...So what?
People often come to the conclusion that Failure usually goes with public humiliation. That somehow, people would look down on them when they fail. This might be true, but then, why should you care?
We sometimes care too much about what other people think of us that we are willing to throw away our dreams which affects our life's course. 😐😐
Guess what?

So many things have changed since the beginning of time, and are still changing.. You know what hasn't changed since then?
Life! You still have just one!

So, would you rather live that one life as a mediocre or by spending it thinking of what your life would have been like if you'd actually tried that idea you had? Or would you throw caution to the wind and be a risk taker for once, not minding what people would think afterwards.

What if you fail?

One amazing thing is, even if you try and fail you're still better off than the previous version of yourself, who had not tried anything at all.
Unless, of course, it is an idea that would get you killed or damaged for life. 🙌
Think of it this way... You're in a SUV, and as you're driving from point A to point B, you hit a pothole but your car is OK.
What do you do next? Would you glorify it? Write a book about it?
Nope. Because no one has time for that kinda sh*t. It is just a bump on the road and as long as the car is fine, you keep going.
That is how life should be. You are going to hit a lot of bumps on the road, but you just have to keep pushing forward.

So, What if you fail?

Fact is, this so-called fear of failure actually isn't rational. We are not really scared of failure, we are just scared of the unknown, what could potentially happen?
But then, think of it this way... In order for you to become the best version of yourself you need to go through some changes, which would only happen when you take steps to achieving something.
You might not get it right the first time, you might end up needing to upgrade here and there. But then, you will pick up new knowledge, sometimes from other people and other times, from your own mistakes.
That is how it is and how it is supposed to be.
And then, the next time that voice comes up again...You should reply with

What if I do not fail?

I hope with this few points of mine, I have been able to convince you and not confuse you that you should not be scared of failure 🤓🤓
