Your Life Is Yours!

I've been thinking a lot lately, about how most people (I included), get stuck in inactivity by paying attention but to the wrong topics. I've recently been a firm believer in the "Your Life Is Yours" philosophy because it plainly is.

I have very great friends who I pass time with when I need to unwind, and believe me, I've known them all through campus life. However, I'm logical enough to understand what they can offer. Every person you associate with in your life has a role they play, or there's something they can offer, but not everything.
This is a message to all those who feel they need to do something productive, or a change, but feel they will disappoint a friend/relative. Folks, keep loving those people, but do what you have to do with your life (I'm talking about the productive activities).
I don't get financial advice from my mom and dad. I love both of them to death. But we're not at par in regards to the direction I want to head, financially. They are both great employees. But I'm not contented with employment, so I get financial advice from those successful entrepreneurs around the world.
Once you realize that everyone sees the world differently from how you see it, you'll acknowledge the "Your life is yours philosophy". Some people, unfortunately, don't even have the option of listening to their parents even if they wanted, because the parent passed away. So, how you see things will always depend on your current conditions.
Go for what you deserve. It's yours for the taking. Trust your gut, your instincts, take risks, and live a happy productive life.
