Day of the Dead November 02

in life •  7 years ago

Today is one of the few days where the cemeteries are attended by family visits in memory of their deceased, the other two days visited are the day of the mother and father's day, today according to the calendar they provide tributes to the deceased and to the deceased saints.

This is a celebration mainly Mexican with Spanish roots where they used to keep the skulls of the fallen as a trophy, shown in rituals where they symbolized death and rebirth.

Within the catholic calendar this date is together with that of the deceased saints just one day after the celebration of the day of the saints, it is curious because if we count October 31 as Halloween day, bone ghosts, saints and dead ....

Mainly this date in Venezuela, it is customary to visit the cemeteries, bring them flowers or light a candle, as a symbol that despite not being physically remembered with love and affection, also send them to make masses and in many houses they perform prayers, prayers and others.

Whatever the purpose of this date, and whatever religion you preach these cultural, folkloric or whatever we want to call are of vital importance to the people and so that we learn to know our roots and that somehow or other we learn from that there is a God to fear him, not because it is bad, but because we have to try to copy the path that Jesus made on this earth in order to become saints because God does not want us Well, SANTOS ...
