Winter at the beach
Wasaga Beach is a small touristic village at the southeast side of the Georgian Bay (part of Lake Huron, one of the great lakes).
This weekend I went to our beach for a short walk. The temperature was not too bad, there was not too much wind, but it was snowing.
Now that a big part is frozen you can go for a walk on the ice. It is not a smooth ice surface where you can do ice skating. It is full of bumps, and big packs of ice.
I wanted to share some photo's of this spectacular natural winter scene. If there would be a white color challenge, this would be for sure a worthy submission :)
This is me on the ice (the trees are on the actual beach)
buttertarts
After walking I started feeling a bit cold and hungry, so I drove to a real gem in the area, where they sell the best butter tarts I've ever eaten.
