A word to my followers:
Thank you, If I could emulate my humble sincerity to you in the form of text, I would hope that these words are being received with love, compassion, and empathy. Most of my followers are minnows. I know this because I frequent the #introduceyourself thread regularly, and welcome new users all the time, with my offer of help and support.

Many of these new users follow me. I don't know if it's because of my exhaustive measures of thoughtfully connecting to my readers gets noticed, or if some of them just like to follow others, and be a part of something. I'm sure both aspects are true.
Admittedly, in the begging, I made many of the minnow mistakes we all make, but I was able to learn from them, and share my acquired knowledge with others. One of the mistakes I learned from early on, was to not ask around on Steemit for followers. It may seem trivial (and I felt slighted at the notion), but I gave it some thought, and the conclusion I drew to was this:
"How can I expect like minded individuals to gain exposure to my works of art, if I spend my time trying to connect with people who spend time trying to connect with people just for that purpose?"
What a conundrum.
Today I noticed I had a follower who has 12,000 followers+ and he followed 14,000+ What are the odds of him stumbling on my post and taking the time to appreciate it? Probably minimal, since I've never heard from him to begin with. What I also noticed, were his average post payouts are 25 cents. This is quite minimal for 12,000 followers. Clearly he spends most of his time looking for useless connections.
But I didn't write this to criticise the actions of others.
I wrote this to say thank you to my followers!

And to say thank you further, I've decided to give back some of my earnings from Steemit (in the form of DOGECOIN) to one of my followers.
I don't care what your reputation score is!
There is no stipulations. No need to resteem this, or upvote. Nothing, except for one. You must be one of my followers.
This is a payout for 1 person only.
The first person to comment with a valid dogecoin address gets 500 dogecoin (2.5 Dollars USD) deposited to their address.
I am obviously a devout Dogecoin supporter(as well as STEEM! ) and I do these little giveaways once in a while. This is my way of saying thank you.
If the 500 Dogecoin is not redeemed after 7 days, I will close the giveaway, and make a new post opening it up for everyone, but for now, it's only for my followers.
Thanks you all! You are the best! @futuremind
