  1. Nipah virus is an RNA virus that is part of the Paramedosvidae family, which was first recognized as a zoonotic pathogenic disease in pigs in Malaysia and Singapore for the first time in 1998 and 1999 and after suffering from respiratory disease in humans and encephalitic disease in humans.

  2. Nipha virus can cause mildly serious illness in domestic animals such as pigs.

Batopodidae Family Bats are the natural hosts of Nipah virus.

4.Nipah virus can be transmitted to animals from animals (bats, pigs), and can also be transmitted from humans to humans.
No treatment or vaccine is available for people or animals. Its primary treatment for human beings is supportive care.
