Yesterday I shared a post about the dedicated Jack of all trades that knows a thing about everything but never makes any tangible marks in the sand of time. The Jack is never reckoned with after his generation.

I also wrote about why we should always hunger to become a genius in our different field that we are, this is stated that it will be achieved by focusing our energy, resources and time into series of training and processes that makes champions.

Today, I decided to write about Impatience and her role in achieving the topmost top in any field.

I have observed many young people complaining about the processes they have to pass through to becoming what they need to become, thus, many of them drop out of these processes.

NOTE

A child that wish to become a medical doctor should have it at the back of his or her mind that the process is not always funny. Becoming a medical doctor requires you studying general sciences, going to specialize school, reading longer hours than your friends doing art courses, you will have to spend more years in school.

All these processes is because becoming a medical doctor will mean you will be determing people's life.

The slightest carelessness can kill a pregnant woman and her baby, can forget to stitch a cut well which may lead to other infections, these and many other accident if you're not well train. This is different from the rigor that a person desiring to become a plumber will go through.

I have seen very educated personalities leave the queue because of impatience, apprentice who couldn't finish their training, etc.

Many people have become so impatience and afraid of going through training, because of this, we have produced people who have allowed greed to get a better part of them.

We have people who only interested in making it in life but are never mind how they want to make it. You always hear the quote below from them;

Any way is the way

**Conclusion **
Let me use the farmer to illustrate and expound this very sensitive issue. Imagine a farmer planting cassava and palm fruit the same day. He will need a longer time to harvest the palm fruit than the time needed to harvest the cassava. The time the cassava needs for maturation is not same compared to that of the palm fruit. The cassava will take less than 6 months but the palm fruit will take at least two years.
Notice something, the palm tree will grow very taller and stronger, the roots will go deep to the soil so it will be able to without storms that a little of such wind or storm will uproot the cassava plant.

Lasting success requires a process of maturation and cutting short any of the processes will sure affect the individual now or later.

To be successful, be systematic, don't cut corners

Aye brother, well said "Be systematic"

This article is meaningful and I am glad I came across. I have been claiming to be jag of all trade, master of one. But the truth is it's not possible to some extent. I have gathered to focus on one. Thank you. There is no short cut to success.

True words youve penned down..the greatest challenge of youths in our time is basically inconsistency and that,my friend, has been the cause of the many un realized dreams and so in an attempt to live up to the standards of them that have attained, they resort to unjust means thus your quote "Any way is the way"... Good post bro as you've painstakingly documented this for the youths to study and amend their ways...keep it up

To cutting corners... 🙅🙅

I took time to read your post, it's a good one. It pays to be patient in everything we do. I have been very impatient on the blockchain lately, but I have realized that patience pays.

This is some good piece, muan. I loved it, and I agree with you, we should be more friendly with the processes and trainings that would lead us to our dreamland. We should be patient and we should love the road to success as much as we love success itself, it's nice to hear this at a time in my life as this time. Thanks mah bro.
