Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin whose function is to protect and protect cells in the retina.

Retinol is one of the active forms of vitamin A responsible for the production of certain pigments in the retina, which helps to better detect the spectrum of visible light.

Retinol deficiency stops the production of these pigments that may cause night blindness in the future.

Vitamin A also contains beta carotene, the antioxidants fighting free radicals that degenerate cells in the body. Vitamin A helps in the hydration of the cornea as it promotes moisture production to lubricate this structure.
