You know the old saying; "if you hang around negative people, you will become a negative person? So true!
I see it all the time. People who used to be jovial, social and fun to be around, started hanging around with someone or some people, who were Negative Nellie's and suddenly your fun-loving friend was gone. Replaced with Debbie Downer.
Or how about people who NEVER can say a nice word? They find the one thing you have done or said... incorrectly.
Example- You clean EVERYTHING in the house or garage, clean every inch of car detailing inside and all the person can see is one microscopic smudge in the wee-little corner of the dashboard. No, this hasn't happened to me, but I did witness it before.
How about those people who constantly complain that they called, left a message or texted someone else and THAT person never called or texted back? Well, let me tell you, the person complaining is usually the first to break their own 'complaint'. Yeah, been on the receiving end of this one.
People who DON'T call back. When I was a newspaper reporter years ago, and on a tight deadline, I would call people to get their side of the story, ask for quotes, etc. The person never called back even after be forewarned of the impending deadline. Then when the story came out and said so-and-so was not available for comment or so-and-so could not be reached before print, the person would call and SCREAM at me. Really? You know how many times I wanted to say, "Well, then, I guess you shoulda called me back".
