On Monday morning, I made my nearly daily trek up the driveway to help move the coop inside the pen. It gets moved every morning so there’s a clean floor for the day. Then once a week we move the entire pen. That’s on Tuesday mornings.
One thing we’ve not done, not having cows, is keep the perimeter fences weedwacked. So there’s lots of stuff to look at and enjoy.
I noticed how lovely the plants along the driveway looked in the early morning sun. Here’s some that caught my eye, starting in front of the house going up one side and then back down the other side of the driveway.
I am familiar with all of them, but only remember half the names. If you know the names of the ones I forgot, you could say in the comments.
Our goldenrod has started to bloom, about a week or more behind @walkerland’s. Black-eyed Susans are starting to wane now.

I’m not sure I knew the name of this one….
Unknown #3, another not great photo…
Dew on poison ivy
Forgotten #4
This photo was my best one. I almost used it for an opener…
I think this is daisy fleabane, but I couldn’t check @porters post for sure.
Yarrow

Unknown #5, probably not good enough for identification
Forgotten #6, I KNOW this plant, but the name won’t come….
Pine needles
I think this is timothy, but with no phone line I can’t go to Steemit and check the post that recently had it.
Raspberry leaves
Mix of different grasses
Forgotten #7 – multiple grass heads
So those are what I enjoyed on my daily walk. That was just the upper half of the driveway, about ⅛ mile long. Well away from the chaos at the other end of the driveway.
