Facts about koalas

Koalas are found in the eucalyptus forest of eastern Australia.
They have a cream coloured chest and strong claw feet perfect for living in the branches of trees.
They measure about 60-85cm long and weighs about 14kg
Although you may hear people call them koala bears, these little fellas are not bears at all .
When an koala called a joey is born, it immediately climbs the mothers pouch blind and earless , a joey uses a strong sense of touch and smell as well as natural instinct
Koalas feed on eucalyptus leaves which are extremely poisonous but luckily for them, they have a long digestive organ called cecum which allows them to break leaves unharmed.
