The case for exterminating sharks.

The thing they do not teach in schools.... Humans are basically aquatic mammals, see Elaine Morgan's "Aquatic Ape" and other printed works, see Theodore Holden's "Ganymede Hypothesis" (https://www.theganymedehypothesis.com), or :

The majority of humans on Earth prefer to live near water if that is possible. Humans NEED to have access to major bodies of water. Prior to the time when aircraft carriers replaced battleships as the most major weapons of naval wars, a major consideration was that more than 80% of the targets a naval force might want to strike were within the 20 mile ranges of typical battleship guns.i.e. within that distance of major waters.

ANYTHING that poses an extreme danger to humans in water needs to be added to the list of extinct animal species. The balance of nature does not miss the tyranosaur or other carnosaurs, and it would not miss sharks any more than that.

Sharks are the ultimate trash fish of the universe. They are not really edible, they attack humans, and they consume some gargantian quantity of ordinary fish which, otherwise, would be available for humans.

See the youtube channel called "sharks happen" for updated reports on the carnage.

If we put our minds to it, we could provide dolphins with the wherewithal to exterminate sharks... A sharp double-edged knife with a blade about a foot long and a floating handle made for an adult dolphin's mouth would probably do it...Put a few million of those in the world's oceans and see what happens...
