Going Out For Another Night At The Music Pub

The special night of the Wednesday open mic! Not sure if I'll perform. Hopefully other people play something. Could give me some practice on the mixer. At any rate will be staying in touch with the place for some plans around the music scene there for the upcoming year.

It's a place I've gone back to. Opened back in 2009. Been flashing back allot to 2009 lately. When the fam got our place, when the music pub and smoke store opened in town. When the beginning of the recovery from 2008 economic recession began. For the first time I feel I am really shaking it off and also shaking the sillies out! Haha! Haven't been able to laugh about the life situation for awhile. Now seems a time of reflection then moving forward some. Yet it's just been me sticking to my original ideas/aspirations. Nothing lost, just put on pause.

That's why music and open mic's mean something to me. It's just 'cause I want to participate in some way. It can be freeing to make some sort of cultural self expression. There are pressures and frustrations in life and the arts can be a means to express it in a positive way. As long as I stay active reading and meditate on having fun with music and art expression there is never anything lost. Nothing to lose, haha, so much to gain really. May your life sprite never be dimmed or blemished by the dim witted, including your own dim wit, get it lit. Embrace your ignorance, don't endorse it.

Wow, yea, a person just realizes they gotta do something, try something but not just anything! Perhaps we can stop calling general roundabout phenomenon as things. What is this some-thing? what is this any-thing!? Is there a way to describe it differently to give expression more animation? Yet it seems so easy to get back to talking about stuff and things! If someone could describe what makes up the 'stuff' and what is the true embodiment of a particular 'thing' so that it can no longer be regarded as a 'thing'.
