Good Night At Friends Birthday Around The Fire

Visited my young friend I haven't seen in awhile. Came there pretty late, left late, it's late now! Just had to get part of the experience out. Capture those thoughts. 2 of the people there including the birthday friend are musicians. I am trying to gather some musically inclined folks together to participate in the upcoming Saturday music pub jam at the end of this month.

They are good musicians I think. They are mostly focused on electronic right now I think. The B-day friend plays some banjo. I knew him from before when we jammed in out band Judtopia. I did post one of our songs on dSound. Maybe we could have a guitar and drum jam just like old times!! I have borrowed the pub's electronic drum set. Let's see if I can further tweak it out and try and have it playable by the end of month. Not my favourite set but let's see if I can utilize it!

This is the friend that told me about Twin Peaks also! He wants to have a discussion group after I'm done watching it. Another friend there suggested we make some sort of transcription of the conversation. Perhaps could film and edit it or audio only. Not sure. Maybe just hit record and see if it's worth the time. It's time to be social again! It has me feeling good. Good way to get through the winter. Am visiting another friend tomorrow night too. He is an older friend. He also plays music. He is busy and in a farther city so don't know if he will make the Saturday open jam time. Still can tell him about it. That's why Saturday, so that people can be free to make it to play music. Still want to try and keep Wednesday open mic going at the pub too. This is practice for me to get there. It's learning time!

Keeping social life nice and casual nowadays. I'm learning how to stay more private in ways. More learning to focus on real fun and connection. We want to make our communities safe learning and earning environments. If I were to speak on that in lets say music, I would want to practice that philosophy in real life as well. My friend and I also talked about books and movies. We can get into the philosophy and cultural critique. I'm glad I was able to help some friends be inspired to read. When you read the same books it can spark a decent conversation.
