Had Alright Interesting Easy Night!

Went out to the music pub to check out the open mic time. The owner who got me in there to help run the sound last time was there. When I arrived he knew it was okay to leave 'cause he knew I could handle it! That was pretty cool and good feeling. Like I finally have full control over the sound of the place! Mwhahahahaha!!

I did see some musician friends while I was there. Unfortunately they were about to leave by the time I got to them. They said they would be coming down for the open jam though! I told them it is the last Saturday at the end of every month. A few of them said they'd be interested in coming down for that. That would be great if they did! I am getting into more of that energetic jamming/playing kind of mood!

The the place did clear out by the time I was done eating there. So I left. That's okay cause I was feeling kinda tired anyway. Just knowing I could have a day or night of control there is inspiring! Making me want to come up with some kind of show that lasts awhile. So even if there are no players I can be of some entertainment service!

I did bring my notebook and wrote some lyrics/ideas! That's great! I'm saving them for later. I'm going to try to superglue the knob for the guitar strap back onto the guitar tomorrow. I don't want to stop playing/practicing! If am writing lyrics and making riffs/beats the next thing you know I will be inspired to put some kind of song together! I just don't want to try to hard about it. Make it like it's what I do and I'm having some fun with the process! It's like making an experiment and sometimes it works and you get results!

Ah! That was good. Glad I can write out something before going to sleep. Always seems to calm my mind and I rest better. I used to stay up real late many times just thinking about life/problems/dreams. Now when I blog it out my mind is more clear and I don't have to stay up so late. In the next week here I should try to get ahold of a few more friends and play some music with them too just for fun and see what happens.
