Read this quote somewhere that "True friends are never apart, maybe in distance, but never at heart".
There are always those few people in life that make you laugh louder, smile bigger and live life better. My uncle passed away couple of days back and hence I could not be active on steemit nor on any social media. But, was happy to receive calls and messages from far and near ones who just wanted to check on me.
Have realised that friendship isn't always about whom you have known the longest, it's more of who is besides you when your at your weakest. There is nothing that I wouldn't do for those who really are my friends.
In friendship it really shouldn't matter whether a person is rich or not, whether their house is a mess, or whether your just being a bitch, it's more about being being in love for who you really are and loving every bit of the crazy you.
I've come to realise that the friends who need me in their life even when I have nothing to offer to them, are the only ones that I need in my life. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but like the saying goes, only a few will leave their footprints in your heart.
Life is short friends, so spend it with people who make you laugh and feel loved.
The greatest gift a person could get in life is friendship, and I'm glad to have received such friends.
