Why do some people need to butt in? Seriously, why can't you just sit on your ass and mind your own fucking business?
I was sitting on the bus, minding my own business, as per the unwritten guidelines of public transport, just looking out the window. And some random dude (he wasn't even cute!) starts waving his hand right in my face. I turn to him because I really wanted him to stop doing that and he's like, 'why do you have this' (points to my shoulder tattoo). And I was like I don't know...
"But you're so beautiful, why do you have that?"
It's a tattoo. Thankfully, he left me alone after this rather obvious answer. Maybe he'd never seen one before. Fucking creeps everywhere. Why can't people just mind their own shit? I mean, I don't go up to strangers and go "why do you have a beard" or "why did you wear that shirt today".
I mean, I get wanting to engage with me somehow or trying to chat to a girl. I get it. But come on, have an ounce of class, will ya? I mean, what kind of hopes do you have from a question like that?
And what does it even mean....you're beautiful, so you shouldn't have tattoos? I love my tattoos and as I wrote in a previous post, feel no inclination whatsoever to explain or defend them. You don't like them, you can just....not look at them. Shocker, I know.
Not my weirdest bus encounter, though. There was this drunk guy once whom I squeezed past to get to a seat and my bag sorta hit him so I apologized and then he came all the way to the back of the bus to ask if I'd said I wanted to punch him in the face. Given his state, I was a bit scared, but I said 'no' and he was like 'oh, okay then' and went on his way. Weird af.
Interestingly enough, the obvious "creeps" on the bus never actually bother me. Which is weird, because you gotta keep an eye on the less obvious ones.
I don't know, man...I'm not one of those people who are like 'eww public transport' but there sure are some funny people out there.
So, what's your weirdest public transport experience? That is, hoping you are not a bus creep yourself. Please don't be. It's disturbing.

Ok, so this one time I was on this bus and there was a bomb on it and if the bus went below a certain speed then the bomb would go off. There were loads of people on the bus, random people like umm, Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves and Keanu had to get on a roller skate sled thing and get under the bus to try and stop the bomb from going off...Then the bridge was out and the bus had to jump the gap. Was crazy shit.
Ok, maybe that was from a movie but it was better than any random shit that ever happened to me on a bus.
P.s. If you're wondering why I have a beard it because I look like a fucking muppet without it. Legit reason I think.

There's an Aussie band called The Beards. An Adelaide band. All their songs are about beards. They have a song called be beard no good which is funny. YouTube it. I've seen them in concert a few times. One of my mates went to school with the lead singer. Good shows. Non-bearded people in the crowd cop shit! 🙂🤣🧔

Being from the South it is a common practice to strike up a conversation with complete strangers. I consider it polite to have a conversation. I was once on a train in Philadelphia where everyone stares out the window and says nothing but I of course did strike up a conversation with the man sitting next to me. Turned out he worked for the railroad and was from Virginia. He and I spent the entire train ride having a great conversation about the railroad and all the track maintenance that he oversaw. He also talked about missing "down home" where no one is a complete stranger. When he got off the train, dead silence on in the car packed full of people. Then and there I realized there is a difference between the North and the South. So if yo happen to be on the bus and a complete stranger with a funny accent strikes up a conversation perhaps he is just trying to be polite. Although, being polite I would never ask why you have a tattoo.
I might ask why you chose that particular tattoo.

I get that and normally, I don't mind conversation. I mind people being rude or obnoxious. I'm actually rather talkative with strangers and often talk to people on the bus (mostly when they strike up the conversation, though) or with cab-drivers. I am friendly and I get what you mean. It's considered weird to talk nowadays , mainly because of this "marvelous" technology.
Personally, I think there's friendly and creepy and a fine line in-between. :D
Frankly, I don't much like that question :) I don't really like explaining my tattoos to anyone...It's not a personal thing or anything, hope you understand. It's to do with someone who means a lot to me and is over three years old now. The tattoo, not the person. :)
