BIGGEST LESSON LEARNED FROM MY DAD 1

in life •  8 years ago  (edited)

To start this story... I had a wonderful childhood. My dad always provided me with everything I need, lots of love and everything material and lots more. He was not rich, he was a hard working middle class man. Almost never missed a day at work. I idolised my dad when I was still a kid. He was the perfect person. He showed me the love of our Father God in the example he was in caring and giving for other people. If he could have all the money he gave away in his lifetime, he would have been a rich man today. He is now 76 years old and he and my mom live with me. His name is Joe. I suppose his example in his love for people should be the biggest lesson I learned from him. While writing this I now realise that this is more valuable than the lesson I originally was thinking of when I started to write the post. I still love and respect him very much. I know now that he was and is not the perfect man. When I grew older I come to realise he is not without his faults. But still he is giving and caring for other people. Thank you Dad, this is your LEGACY.
