I downvoted this. Much of it seems to be rephrased copy-paste from here.
I don't know whether this rises to the level of actual copyright infringement or plagiarism, but most of it seems to be either the rephrased narrative from the E! story or commentary on it, or additions to the narrative (like their school mates thought they were weird) that, if they are true, only add a very small amount of depth to what was already there. It does not strike me as original enough to merit the reward it got (however, the reader should note that this is a subjective opinion)

The two were old family friends, with mothers whose professional lives crossed paths and educations that begin two years apart at Cambridge's Ringe and Latin School.
The-alien
They were childhood friends and their mothers were long time friends themselves. One of the two kids was two years older than the other, and so they were two years apart in school.

They spent a good portion of their childhood years in Boston (and many a lunch hour, while other kids were presumably socializing) talking about how badly they wanted to be actors.
TA
At the school lunch breaks, they were always sitting together and planning their big move to Hollywood when they grow up. For the rest of their classmates, they were just those two weirdos who were still stuck on their delusional pipe dream.

They held summer jobs together to help each other save up for trips to auditions.
TA
Every summer, they started taking jobs together to motivate each other to work hard and save money to move to Los Angeles and start going to auditions.

He completed the [college] assignment by writing a 40-page script—and yes, that was the script that would become Good Will Hunting. [when he moved to LA] he and Affleck began crafting the script into a feature film.

And then one night on the same roof where they kept planning their future with the same energy as when they were kids, they decided to make their own luck instead of waiting for luck to knock on their door
They decided to write a movie script and use that as a vehicle to carve their paths in Hollywood.
the older, had already started writing a story when he was in college so they took that story and turned it into an amazing movie script.

Anyone in Hollywood will tell you that actually finishing the script is the easy part; it's the actual getting-it-made (or rather, finding somebody to get it made) is nearly impossible.
TA
Moving to L.A was the easy part, because that’s a tough business, casting after casting, and rejection after rejection.

the script for Good Will Hunting was different. Good different. Word of this gem of a flick spread like wildfire and eventually caused a bidding war for the rights.
TA
But you know what people say, you just need that one big break.
The script in question was so good that it attracted the attention of many film studios that started competing for it.

[in the present day] it's almost laughable to think about their night at 1998 Oscars. They walked up the steps giggling and in disbelief, just to [sic] bros who made a really good movie, ...They yelled out names of people they saw in the audience, just because they were so excited to be standing onstage and seeing people they knew in the audience. Their moms yelled back to them from the audience.
TA
When you look at that video several years later, you cannot help but notice the excitement in their eyes. The genuine happiness of someone who has just realized that they reached their goals while shouting at their moms, and their moms shouting back as if they were in the same neighborhood in Boston.

The movie garnered a whopping nine [nominations], including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director, on top of its two wins for Robin Williams and, famously, best screenplay.
TA
Good Will Hunting went on to collect TQ nine academy awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, on addition to two Oscars for Robin Williams and of course, the best screenplay.

This weekend, Ben Affleck had the number one movie at the box office. He promoted The Accountant...

Even as recent last week... I stumbled on a brilliant performance from Ben Affleck in a new movie called The Accountant
