Story time,

Last year, a friend of friend of mine, this guy had (and still is) going through a "rough patch"

Unemployed, living off random gigs, moody, struggling with depression

He wasnt like this first half of relationship, but in the latter 6 months
His girlfriend dealt with it for 6 months, but it burned her out

A little past the one year mark, she finally broke up with him

he was devastated,

But...

This guys situation was largely HIS FAULT

and she was right to leave him
He was unemployed not because he coudnt find work, but because he "didnt know what his purpose was"

so he bypassed a lot of jobs and opportunities

his ex gf was the one trying to get him to hustle

YUUGE red flag for a woman with any sense
He didnt have a track record of working consistently at anything, despite being really "smart" and having talent in many areas

Every hustle he came across, he'd have initial success, then lose interest

He was also a moody guy, prone to getting depressed, and even his girlfriend described him as emotional

She was by all accounts a great girl, I met her a few times

She was with him because they had an intense emotional connection,

BUT
She ended up managing HIS emotions for the latter half of the relationship

-You want to murder the attraction dynamic with a woman and make her lose respect for you?

Make her responsible for handling your emotional state

Its Mommy girlfriend status.
I had a conversation with her right before they broke up, she messaged me wanting to know if I could recommend anything to break him out of the funk

We had a short conversation, she was trying to work out if she should stick it out with him or not
When a woman is RATIONALLY trying to convince herself why she SHOULD be with you,

She does not WANT to be with you.

You don't ever want your woman trying to "logic" her way into why staying with you is worth

Desire cannot be negotiated
Breakup happens, I end up having a brief conversation with the guy,

hes a wreck

But he's got the Disney Prince version of what love is

"I loved her so much, I loved her so much"

Yeah bro, but you've also been deadbeating it for the better half a year
And your now ex girlfriend was the one keeping your shit together emotionally and financially

And your track record of "success" of any kind is basically ZERO

So what's she tying her future to? (she was in her late 20s and was marriage minded)
Women don't owe you SHIT gentlemen

its not your womans job to make you work, manage your mental health, and try to get you to hustle

That's not a girlfriend, that you needing a mommy, except your a grown fucking man
