Flat Earth International Conference :)))))))))

Last week, hundreds of people met up at the Flat Earth International Conference.

At the FEIC, like-minded people get together to discuss their rejection of, what they describe as, ‘a heliocentric globe-earth model’. Flat-earthers claim that after experimentation, analysis and research – the truth is out there about our cosmos. Naturally, the community face a lot of questions from ‘heliocentric’ believers so they like to get the FAQs out of the way.

On the FEIC website, they explain that the community suspect the planet is a circular disk shape that relies on Antarctica to provide an icy wall barrier. Sort of like Game Of Thrones, although instead of preventing invasion from wildlings/white walkers, the ice barrier stops humans walking off the edge of the earth. Last week’s gathering cost $149 (Around £35) per ticket, and guests were welcome to take in a range of talks, presentations and Q&A sessions on topics including the accepted spherical shape of our planet being an elaborate hoax. The itinerary was jam-packed with events, such as ‘Flat Earth with the Scientific Method’, which examines ‘lies’ told by mainstream science. While the ‘Nasa and other space lies’ session aims to break down apparent inconsistencies presented by the space agency.
