Anxiety is a bummer!
I wouldn't say I suffer from it however I feel like I have witnessed it in full action daily through my mum. To watch it can be quite frustrating and I find myself questioning 'is this for real it's not even that big a deal!' but I do bear in mind that to go through this feeling daily is a huge struggle and upsetting for the one experiencing, it so to be compassionate is something I have definitely learned to be!
This post is NOT in relation to 'anxiety worrying' as that goes lot deeper than what I am referring too!
My thoughts on general worrying however are why waste your time and energy doing it?! Got a problem... you either find a solution and if you cant then you let it go over your head.. if need be revisit it later to try again for a solution. But definitely don't spend time worrying on it.. this gains nothing trust me!
Worrying is a negative emotion which means you will never find a positive outcome come from it. When you allow yourself to worry over situations you are potentially allowing yourself to lose control of the situation. Your mind will not be thinking rationally and then you may end up carrying out actions you later on regret!
I have been criticised on my way of dealing with matters that I feel I cannot find a solution to. I have been told that by dismissing them I am either not facing it or I am simply cold with no heart. However I do not view it as that, I view it as when a matter is out of my hands and I am not able to control or change it then it is in my best interests to let it go. I will not drain my mind and spirit with matters that serve me no purpose and you shouldn't either.
It takes strength to put yourself first, and it is a hard task to do! Worrying is a total waste of your precious time choose a healthier more positive way to deal with situations; Be a warrior not a worrier!
