I absolutely love this! My mom, although I think she did a great job raising my sister and I, pushed perfection on us. It got to the point that we always were in competition, even sometimes with each other. We felt we had to be the best at anything we did and when we failed it was miserable. We felt defeated and would criticize ourselves for not being the best at whatever it was. I am so glad I grew out of that habit and accepted that I was no better than anyone else. I had my strengths and weaknesses.
