Hi,
I changed the text of this post. For a simple reason. People come to Steemit to get quality info. Positive and fun content. Not to hear whining. Even though the original content of this post was the truth, it just wasn't content that would really add value. So I removed it.

For me, new rules. I will post daily on Steemit, as often as possible on DTube.
Won't try to post videos daily, because I'm just not in the position to do so at the moment.
But I love the community and Steemit is slowly taking over as my main Social Media platform.
So thanks for all the support.

To make it more interactive I'll be adding questions to my posts :)

Question for today:
What is one thing you've done 10 years ago that would like to do again someday?

My answer:
Snowboarding

See you guys tomorrow!

What is your opinion on snowboarding vs. skiing? From what I've heard, skiing is much easier to learn as one gets older - but snowboarding looks "cooler"?

Here's my personal experience:

  • It's easier to learn to ski
  • It's easier to learn how to be a moderately snowboarder (I landed the jump in the picture and had about 1 week of experience)
  • You can only snowboard until a certain age. Your body wears out, while skiing has that problem much less.

Still can't ski if my life depended on it. Haven't been on a snowboard in 10 years time, living in South America sure doesn't help :)

Good luck with your blogging pal. 10 years.. hehe I dont remember 2008)

Don't remember 2008? There must be some good memories if you think long enough :)

Having caught the original excerpt, intro of your post (no, I didn’t look in the blockchain archives, I respect your decision to alter it), here’s my tip: Just do it. Just eff**g do it.

Take dreams and find an achievable, short term goal, progress on the path to those dreams. If that means becoming for example a professional snowboarder, set as goal to participate to x competitions this year. Find them. Do them. Learn from them. Improve. Next season’s goal: rank on the podium. Etc.

Most dreams are too lofty and people scare away from them because they seem unattainable. But there’s no problem with big dreams, as long as you actually pursue them and set yourself attainable milestones along the road. Even if you don’t achieve your end goal, you will still have learned and achieved.

Doing leads to achieving. Achieving is a win.

Dreaming and shelving those dreams leads to... nothing.

Thanks for the support @fknmayhem!
The issue had more to do with me getting frustrated about the internet connectivity here. Took me way too long to upload and now I've finally uploaded 2 days later.
I really wanted to keep uploading videos on a daily level, but my current life doesn't permit it and I'm too stubborn to except it.
My personal goals are going quite well actually. And no, no ambitions as a snowboarder :)

Well, as you know by now I love a lot of things. So remembering what I did 10 years will take come effort...there was this one event that I would like to repeat very soon.

Disassemble a pistol (Beretta), cleaning it and putting it back together. But the real challenge was to do it within a specific amount of time at which I failed. The process was sweat generating at the highest level but my natural born love for weapons made me wanting to do this more often.

That sounds cool @faustofraser!
