Reading the book of Proverbs I found this verse that makes a comparison between the ANGER and the ENVY, which seemed so curious to me.
Both although very similar and bad in themselves, we see how Salomon makes a clear separation, noting that envy is much worse.
And it is that envy is like a plague that takes over a person and leads her to do things that she did not imagine doing.
Biblically, the first murder was the product of Envy (Genesis 4: 5). Envy also made King Saul devote himself to persecuting David for a long time (1Samuel 18: 6).
As Christians, we can not allow envy to enter our lives, and for that, we have the help of the Holy Spirit that molds our character.
