Rick and Morty fans know that the show has not been afraid to touch on some strange real-life problems, including gonorrhea battles, self-burial, and now, coprophagia — otherwise known as eating poop.
While eating poop can be funny, coprophagia is a difficult condition to deal with. In fact, if the R&M character Dr. Wong really existed, he’d be making a fortune, because there is at present no really effective treatments for coprophagia. In fact, because it is usually associated with severe mental conditions, like mental retardation, schizophrenia, dementia, hypothyroidism, depressive psychosis or pica, the most effective treatment we have is with an antipsychotic medication called haloperidol.
