Fascinating post!
Some time back I read Philip K Dick's Novel 'Ubik' its major theme was a world where psychic powers of remote viewing are common and used by law enforcement. It's interesting to see that on a certain level this was essentially true and can be taught to anyone that wants to learn the skill.
