It becomes an habit when it's frequently practiced.

I have come to realize that whatever we consistently and continuously practice becomes a part of us. It forms an habit.
I have learned this over time by continuously engaging in a particular act and I decided to come up with this quote. I don't know if it must have been quoted somewhere else before but I sort of made that up.
What is that thing you are constantly and continuously engaging in, if its bad, please stop as it'll likely become an habit pretty soon.
Is there an habit you're trying to inculcate, give at least 10 minutes each day to the act and it'll soon become an habit. 😉

Creating Consistency. It seems that one of the biggest failings we exhibit is that of not being consistent. If only we could learn about creating consistency, imagine what we could achieve? Yet in reality most of us don’t stick with creating consistency, which is the biggest killer of goals and dreams.

Top athletes and performers are way more consistent than most of us. Hence, good habits of showing up, constant practice and consistent training are vital to achieving top results. Without good habits, the battles between motivation and lethargy fall into the abyss of procrastination .

Athletes know exactly what tasks, behaviours and mental techniques are required to be outstanding and achieve their desired results.

Because failing in the habit of consistency is one of the biggest killers of goals and dreams.

You only have to take a look around to see evidence of this:-

98% of diets fail; around 92% New Years resolutions fail and only one out of nine achieve their goals.

Recently I wrote an article on why it is so critical to be consistent, taken from the findings of a NASA experiment. Today, I will share a strategy to help you build the vital habit of creating consistency.

The following strategy was originally attributed to Jerry Seinfeld and was taken from a conversation he had with a young comic actor; I have read, however, he has disputed this! Now, whether or not he did, it is a great strategy and has a powerful message for all of us, so settle back and read on..

hi

Consistency is very key but being consistent in the wrong thing will only cause more damage.

This is true... Whatever we do consistently becomes an habit, just like making a post every day has become an habit for me!
