10TH WEEK ON PLAN, 31LBS LOST SO FAR, ANOTHER FAST DAY DONE.

I am onto my 2nd week doing the 5 - 2 DIET after 8 weeks of The 8 Week Blood Sugar Diet. This being my 10th week.

I am sticking to my 5 days of eating normally but after completing The 8 Week Blood Sugar Diet i am finding it hard to eat so much more. My TDEE Total Daily Energy Expediture works out at 2000 calories, that's 1200 more calories i am supposed to fit in on the 5 days. I am having larger portions plus adding food but now i am full so don't need so much.

I have also introduced a 16 - 8 to my weekly diet, instead of 2 days eating between 500 - 800 calories i stop eating before 10 the night before then don't start eating again until 16 hours later including the hours I sleep, so around 2 pm the next day then 800 calories. That's fasting for 16 hours. I have found this works better for me as i don't get up until late with being in pain. This had helped eased my problems with IBS.

My tastes have changed so much since starting this plan, i have always loved a slice of cake or something sweet later on in the evening, my sweet treat now is.

2 tbs Full Fat Greek Yogurt or Creme Fraiche
Blueberries
Raspberries
Pomegranate seeds
Small pinch of chopped Almonds

It hits the spot and fills me until me next meal. I was also a massive bread lover, i haven't had a slice for 10 weeks nor do i want any, i would usually be craving food, bread, chocolate, pasta, now i don't even think about it, my meals are built up with Prorein and non starchy vegetables. My favourite meal to have at the moment is.

Sliced Courgettes
Chopped Asparagus
Chopped sliced onions
Spinach
Handful of Garden Peas

All fried together with a chicken breast. Its delicious. I also like to add a spoonful pot creme fraiche to my soups, this makes it creamer and more filling only adding around 35 calories to each cup. My daughter Nichola has a taste for this too.

I also drink a lot of water now whereas before i hardly drank anything apart from the odd coffee or mouthful of pop. I now have 1 or 2 coffees then fill up on water.

I can see me buying my 1st ever dress for Christmas. 💃💃

Well it is always better when he can wrap his arms around you, you know.
the slimmer and trimmer you get the more you have to worry.
