Happiness, expression, and plant abuse. I'll start somewhere.
Expression is commonly recognized when a dog is smiling back at you, and when you yourself are happy and open. But expression - a vital part of you - also comes through in the negative expressions of depression, angst, anxiety, to anger, fear, disdain, repulsion, and any other word you can think of. It's not so much a matter of right and wrong, good or bad, positive or negative, it's more vital to recognize expression when we are it. We channel ourselves through both positive and negative expressions, all for various multidimensional reasons, so the important part is to recognize ourselves within/as the struggle or the opening up. It's easy to place ourselves when we're opening up to a positive happy loving expression, it's rather difficult to open up to face ourselves within our own negative expressions. So I will call the expression of negative expression channelled expression, because basically there's always a reason why we're unhappy or dissatisfied or in disagreement.
As such then, happiness and love present in the word themselves a big mirror. When we refer to happiness or love, we access all of everything of our hopes, dreams, aspirations, ideas of divinity, ideas of perfection, and obviously how we believe we can achieve perfection and a form of divinity in this life. Saying happiness or love also more subtly reminds us of what exactly we are trying to avoid, deny, resist, wish to diminish, eradicate, wipe out forever more. All words in their practical manifestation in our lives individually - as we each lead individual lives - are therefore but mirrors of our own accumulated nature. And in spite of calling my being a nature, there's at this stage very little that resembles or reflects the honesty, gentleness, common sense, care, consideration that the Nature expresses as a daily continuous expression. So this nature we constantly find ways of managing and dealing with is rarely a beautiful point, yet there is beauty in exposing ourselves to whatever word we express through, in the expectation and reality that once we really expose ourselves to our nature and draw a comparison between the Nature and our own nature and really realize how our own nature is designed against me and everyone else, we "naturally" stop and change fundamentally. This is the kind of change that I romantacize about and aspire to and love, foundational fundamental change at a being level that becomes measurable in my daily living practice. But make no mistake about it, if exposing ourselves to ourselves were natural, we wouldn't be in the world with the world exactly the way it is. The most difficult thing in the universe is grasping and systematically specifically exposing ourselves to what we have really done.
Because there's a concept that we already know what we are doing, but rarely we consider that our knowledge of what we are doing is a biased perspective only considering the effects on our personal well being, we miss the mark and implement fake solutions all the time. Western society exemplifies exactly what not to do, exactly what not to prescribe to myself, exactly what needs to be done to create confusion and inner conflict, in the knowledge of western society of how to attain happiness, how to be satisfied, how to be great.
Happiness is an unusual word and topic to discuss because its definition between two people and amongst a society of people is the definition of separation, fear, denial, and abdication of responsibility. There is no hard and fast rule for happiness. You can have all the money in the world and everything materialistically you can desire, but we always humble ourselves back to relationships and the quality therein, because if we don't we are unhappy. But there is a real physical requirement for the potential of happiness, which is your roof and food and water. I propose that happiness cannot begin to be understood until we get off our lazy ass, and start to actually get to know ourselves. That's seldom a beautiful point because we've defined all our happiness and positivity in the objects and experiences and people that divide our attention into emotions/feelings the most. When we are obsessed and possessed by an emotion/feeling, like love, we're in contact with an invisible force that is felt physically in the human physical body, and its effect is to subdue any questions we may have about this reality, and essentially delay and resist knowing thyself. Man know thyself, or does that mean man know thy flesh, because self spelt backwards is fles(h).
Physicality is a perfect thing. It allows the existence of space and time where space is space, time is the allowance for a program to run to its end. In my opinion, physicality and what divides us physically gives us the gift of nature, as in The Nature. It's a living example literally of what honesty and consideration is, how honesty is applied, and measures harm and abuse in the most visible manner imaginable. Given that nothing is really wrong or bad about this physical existence with all its physical laws, nothing is really wrong or bad about the rules and regulations we impose on each other, the important part is who we are individually within the rules, of society and of existence. Physical existence is showing revealing and demonstrating that who we are is fucked up. But within this fucked upness hides a gift, but it will not be given to any of us. Because basically no one, not Bernard nor Sunette nor Desteni, can replace or substitute us actually doing something about ourselves. This physical existence including all the people and houses and animals and products can be giving you everything you can possibly imagine, but if I don't want to move and direct, I become a lost cause.
So that's in a nutshell how valuable each of us are individually to Existence as The Existence. Existence contained in/as the human physical body, so many things can go wrong about the human physical body alone, you just study the common illnesses that goes around and you'll see how fragile the thing is, so many things can go wrong BUT it doesn't, existence is giving each of us individually a chance to make things right. Not that things and everything else is wrong or bad or evil, who I am within the things and everything else is, succinctly, the problem, the existential problem we face and the individual problem we each individually are invited by physicality to explore and discover.
So going back to happiness. How can I believe I am happy when I am using an invisible force underpinned by the secret internal conversations, calculations, and ideas I've absorbed, that influential people can simulate our mind to be "on the road to great disaster, turmoil, and suffering" by uttering just one wrong word in a wrong tone of manner? Bernard Poolman is one living example - he's living because his words are relevant and if you really investigate timeless - one example of how an influential person can challenge you and make as if everything the sky is falling down on your life only. How can I believe I am permanently happy, if someone like Bernard Poolman, can record a message, and just hearing his words I shut down and protect myself? Why can this happiness change in a moment being exposed to an influential person saying or doing something?
So now that we've established the happiness advocated by western society, is not permanent happiness, is basically not happiness that I can be truly satisfied with, we can begin to wonder what happiness really is. Happiness what it already is is a big mirror of our nature and peculiarities and tendencies. So why not dig deep into the very tendencies that I say I like just because, so in the process I get to know myself better, and possibly reveal to myself only more specifically what exactly I like. My process of doing this has revealed that I might value another's happiness and well being just as much as my own. I appreciate when people give me the information necessary to understand why they do things a certain way. I like that very much. Though I do enjoy when people give me support practically, so money wise or product wise or mindset wise, I kind of enjoy having the opportunity to give support, in spite of me not being anything in this world, I am physically here, so whether people agree or not I do have openings where I may be able to influence and affect them. Equal and one to how willingly I allow others to influence and affect me, my reasoning being because if I am real, I won't change, and no sensational or attractive ideas proposed would distort my seeing of what factors are at play here, and my responsibility as one of those factors. I love it when I am acting on my responsibility, it gives me confidence, trust, intimacy, and connection with myself first.
The scene is really blown up when we look at support as only giving advice or giving some objects or favours to people. Support the way I see it is especially the way you handle your own shit, inside your mind, and out to reality in your words and deeds. Just standing as your own man meanwhile demonstrating what is possible in just one person is support. Though the material support that I do receive do physically change my daily experience, I believe these physical changes are secondary to the self change and the interaction between people. Self change can feel like discovering a new reality in the reality that's already here. Materialistic change sort of feels the same. So, people that buy me shit, I prefer you sharing your thinking about the daily practicalities of life and more the mental support, than the actual stuff. But I don't think I'm alone in this opinion, people say the same thing in different ways.
It's a tough walk to face the man in the mirror. Either wait for reality experiences to force you to see yourself in the gory detail of it, or you take action that's measured in time and effort that's your writing, take action to face yourself at your own pace and with self forgiveness, which takes a lot of the sting of the harsh truth away if you're honest. Do you think The Existence gives a fuck about any of our peculiarities or how we will inevitably face the point of ourselves? No, so I suggest taking action, taking action now, before you live out your preprogrammed design. That's my take on happiness, expression, oh and I have plant abuse.
We hear about animal abuse. There are people that get a kick out of that. Why? It's partly because of the reactions they get from abusing animals right? To use a mild example, carrying a fake cockroach to swing towards your friend to make them scared bananas alludes to the mental mechanism consisting of memories, beliefs, imagination, upbringing, knowledge, information that creaks and screams as it moves in the minds of people. Why is there such an outrage on animal abuse, but not plant abuse? What do plants feel when they're fed acid instead of water? I think of the people deforesting the planet that are the biggest players of plant abuse, but for some reason I don't think they get a kick out of it mentally. What does our reaction towards animal and plant abuse say about us? They're both abusing life, but in different form and expression. Doesn't that suggest most people participate in a definition of life that's not really life? Who am I to exclude myself from the many? The implications of how we live life so how we demonstrate our understanding of what life is, is obvious: poverty at a global scale, plastic in the oceans, corruption for every level of society, a happy population that's unhappy inside, what part am I playing in continuing the flow of society so that it gives off an illusion that it's continuous and infinite and pervasive? It's not pervasive, the character of society that makes decisions on a global scale starts and ends with only one person's mind. Does being oblivious to western society's culture that we all know already spreads like a disease, make us innocent? We're never innocent when we're already connected, our breathing travels the world. Imagine how many thoughts, words and deeds we participate in, that is used as justification for another to do the same. The cycle of blame is endless. Desteni gives you the support and the tools to take self responsibility, come on, if we already knew what that implied our world would be looking different no? Looking at it, self responsibility would stop the cycles of revenge, blame, excuses, and justifications.
So if you're interested, really take a week to note down the thoughts, words, and deeds you actually did verbatim. I said it's tough, but if you really care about this world, you will write yourself to freedom. I started with writing about the habits and deeds I disliked about myself. At some point the change plateaus, then that's a sign to move to the next step of understanding and actually learning from our own history. Who in this world is giving the time and attention to guide you to take responsibility for your own life? The implications are life changing, it changes your destiny, you become unpredictable, but more caring about the world. Tough, but I get to decide whether it's possible or not, like you decide right now if it's doable for you. I challenge you to question your self righteousness because it never led to anything right. I'm confident in guessing it did the complete opposite. Will you still deny the evidence and put up a poker face? That's highly likely because each of our consciousness in a nutshell is a descriptive mirror of our own accepted and allowed nature as beings. It's very difficult to break free from things we accepted as truth when we had apparently hidden desires to control truth. Don't forget the most intelligent bunch of us lies the best to stand in the high position they are in. But who are you kidding, the greed is obvious, so no matter how much we try to mask our own greed, you can expect it's just as obvious.
There's also a common misconception that going to the lowest point or admitting our worst failures is weakness. Observe the strong and you'll notice they always have some peculiarities that they defend and protect and accept and allow. Wouldn't you be something if you dealt with your own peculiarities? No escape from self honesty and self forgiveness. Strength is another thing that's misconstrued. Power is another thing that's misunderstood. Power and strength to me would be doing what Bernard did in his life: knowing his message would be fought tooth and nail, and disliked by near everyone, but also knowing his message is best for all, he made the group Desteni and had the courage and strength and power to speak the difficult messages, but the messages that would lay the foundation for any person to develop integrity. Don't you know how empowering it is when you're given a message that your integrity is not something born into you, that it's something that you can work on and specify as you go along life? And he died leaving a bunch of people committed to spreading the how-to to take self responsibility, and a lot of written and spoken work, and probably funded these people from his own pocket. Who in the right mind sees society fucked up, and wanting to change the society, gives his life to a bunch of people, and takes all his money to create a group called Desteni? Who in the right mind dares to challenge society norms that are seemingly invincible? Who in the right mind wants to change the world practically and physically?
How many people did what he did - do everything in his power to make the world change - , and left the legacy he left? Why aren't you questioning why you yourself aren't willing to go to the lengths he did, gave his life and his money, which is pretty much everything, to care about the direction the world is falling into? Why aren't you bothered about your own consciousness that's determining your destiny? It's a fucking living experience that faces you every single day of your life, that's everyone's destiny, including yours.
I want to share with you, before I had any idea of self responsibility, my destiny and life was hell. Hell is being forced through a living experience to accept your fate in this life, and forced to accept the consequences of your own creation. Notice how I say forced, because no one is ever forcing you, you're attracting and seeking out your own creation. Self responsibility. But who am I kidding, not even someone like Bernard got through to you.
People who understand, good. But you're not fooling anybody, work is love made visible. And now I'm satisfied that I explained the most important concepts that revolve around a person's life in a way that empowers people to make the decision to take self responsibility by writing to be honest with yourself and forgiving yourself of any thoughts and thinking that harms people. I can die a happy man, but I'm not dead yet, isn't that bizarre?
People can wish I go die. It's just more evidence of how powerful and significant your thoughts are.
