Stuff Is A Waste Of Time!

People don't realize how much stuff can waste time. They think that it just costs money, But it also requires just as much, If not. More time.

You Trip Over It, It Gets In your Way!

We all have those clutter spots. Taking up our precious furniture space or making our life more difficult by causing us to trip over it every five seconds.
That wastes valuable time every single day.

You Have To Manage It

If it breaks, Fix it. Have company over? Move it!
You're constantly interacting with your stuff even if you don't realize it. And time adds up.

Harder To Move!

It's crazy to me, That people who sometimes move a lot have the most stuff. Not only can moving be a huge time waster, But also be very expensive the more stuff that you have. Do you want to pack up boxes and boxes of crap?

Conclusion

Having a lot of stuff, May not seem like a waste of time. But It is. Decluttering not only saves you money and encourages you to buy less. But it will allow you to have more time to use for whatever you want.

I feel like we should buy things but expensive things that will last us a long time instead of pulling more and more things up that are useless

Yes! Quality is so much better than quantity.

I agree!! and we also need to take care of the stuff we own, such that it lasts longer... this is something that my father continually preaches to me over and over

I agree with you, the useful is better than the expensive. thank you

Thats why I always like to give mu "Stuff" away when i dont need it .

I hate when people hord stuff all over their house !!

I aggre with u man!

Me2!

you can say that again!! get rid of some of that junk !! lol

Having an uncluttered home is a big part of Feng Shui, where your environment can affect your physical and mental health. There’s a very informative manga about decluttering by Marie Kondo, called “The Life-Changing Book of Tidying Up. Really cool advice in there.

Wow! I need to read that :) I love stuff like that. It has a huge impact on your life overtime. Like you said your physical and mental health.

You’ll love the part about storing clothing. Most people have no idea of what really causes wrinkles and how you can store folded clothes without wrinkling them.

Another problem with having excessive items in the house is that when you realize it you might have a house full of useless stuffs or things you NEVER use. Taking valuable space that could be occupied by more important items or to simple leave it free so we can move more comfortably.

Besides, houses full of useless items tend to be more dirty, perhaps it’s because it’s more difficult to clean when there are so many things

You are right. Do not try to take over a huge number of things. It works sometimes to the detriment of our development. As a heavy, unnecessary anchor that holds us in a quiet backwater. But sometimes you need to step outside your sea. To expand its borders. In this case it is better to be free of things, to go light!

Exactly! Light is the way to go.

Haha! So true @kaylinart! I've moved several times in the past few years & each time I get rid of more stuff & it's so great! After the last move, I almost got rid of the living room couch. Then I figured we needed a comfortable place to sit, lol ;) But it's nice to know we could easily move to a new adventure quite easily.

I think it is important to buy durable stuff that buying a lot of stuff and then if someone is relocation there are some simple stuff they can carry with them and then auction the heavy stuff. I think that would do better. How about that @kaylinart?

Thanks for your new post...time is more important for earn money but some people waste time for nothing...

Exactly! So much waste.

I hate stuff ..... except for my iPod and wifi that helps me earn Steem so that I can retire and Travel some day.

@kaylinart You always make me Happy with your common sense postings.......

Of course quality much better. If you product is good condition it can be used for long time. But if you buy a lot of that product buy it doesn't have good condition you just gonna buy it and buy it and buy it.. Not worth it.

This article is so real because i'm feeling the same way about having too much hanging around at times, i usually recycle most of my stuff and make way for new stuff and try not to buy too much unwanted stuff that makes my surrounding heavy ,thanks for the share and i also followed for more of your content.

It's funny, but living here in the states we actually have so much extra stuff we rent storage space just to keep it all somewhere outside of our house! It's crazy how people hoard shit they don't need...

Very nice post..i really like your blog. :)

Intense speech,it's controversial, it could open an endless debate, i recommend a motivational serie

Exactly! Thats a good one :) Start the debate!

I'm on it

Sometimes people are spendy they buy a lot of bogus items which may be rather not bought do to the fact that they don't buy with a scale of preference their property becomes their problem.

Fantastic write my dear

To expand its borders. In this case it is better to be free of things, to go light!

Exactly hehe.

thank you guys. i so admire you for your efforts.

The things you own, end up owning you baby

Things are a waste especially if we consume ourselves with just trying to get these things.

no money money
yes travel
yes life ;)

This sounds like "Confessions of an ex-hoarder."

Stuff brings so much more noise to our lives. The simple life is so much more enjoyable.

Please help me by support my blog, thank you!

Thanks for your new post...time is more important for earn money but some people waste time for nothing...have a good day..

Hides his slight hoarding of things
:) Most of my stuff stays in boxes and I have found the eventual use for some of it over time.

But having too much gets annoying to move about, especially when there isn't a lot of room!

people do not really know what is really important for them. Everything is about obsession or rumor.

Man, I love your stuff, keep going!
You are one of the most unusual steemians I've seen here.

sometimes we think with a lot of moves many things we can do. but what we have to spend time for things that are useful. good post .Intense speech,it's controversial

I was thinking about this for a long time...
I have many stuff that i really dont need...
Ccc

Hey @kaylinart <3 How are you doing ^^ Haven't red any of your articles lately. Stumbled on this one just now ^^ Its quite the gem.

Much love and I wish you happy holidays :3

This is very true, and we never really realize how much we have, or don't have, until we have to pack it all up and move or hold a yard sale to declutter.
That says a lot about what sort of world we live in where it is promoted as an ideal to accumulate a lot of stuff in order to 'say something' about ourselves, as if the stuff were an extension of us; perhaps in a way it is, at least the 'us' we have been programmed to be.
I loved the post, to the point and thought provoking, thank you for sharing.

The more you have, the more you have to take care of! BTW just hit 1700 follower! THanks so much for all of your support. Gave you a shoutout in my latest post! :)

So true, I'm in this process of giving away lots of things and letting go. It feels good! and is an ongoing process and way of life.

Hi @kaylinart, I think having and managing a lot of stuff is different for different personalities. I've been studying MBTI in different forums for quite some times and it's very interesting to know that we, humans act very differently even in the same situations. What you suggested absolutely makes sense. However, one can challenge one's comfort-zone and do the things that seem very difficult. For example, a person who is introvert is likely to not very sociable, avoids social gatherings, parties and things like that...so this is a trait of personality. Similarly, being arranged or the otherwise are also personality traits. That's what's my understanding of the topic. Please guide me where I am wrong.

Great post.
