Everyone assumes that being more productive is simply about getting more done in less time. If you are a productive person, you definitely accomplish more in months than many people do in years, but productivity is more of a way of being. It doesn’t matter what you do or where you work, everyone is looking for ways to be more productive on the job. So, I am going to share with you important information and useful tips that will increase your productivity.

The hardest part is getting started

It is not difficult as a picture in our head. One of reasons that the hardest part is to get started is that we think about a whole project or define our results we are willing to get and that's a wrong strategy. It is important to have a clear picture of what you plan to accomplish but it will be wiser to break it into smaller tasks. So, it will look achievable and you have more success along the way. Once you get started, things become easier. For example, if your goal is to be writer but you haven't done anything relevant yet. It might seem impossible but if it said smaller goals such as writing a few pages or a few lines each day, you climb up and set larger goals as you make progress. You can start slow and add more work next time. Another common mistake is to wait for the" right "time because you are too tired, you don't feel creative or you are not just in the mood. The right time never comes, decide that "now" is the right time.

Pay attention to your morning routine

If the first thing you do when you wake up is to think of all the things you need to do today. You heard your motivation and make yourself feel stressed. Instead you can start the day with listening to your favorite music, watching funny videos, having a nice breakfast this way you start the day off right and fill yourself with energy. Only when you finish your positive morning routine then take a look at your desk for today.

Adapt the right habits

Relying on willpower only is not good enough because it's a resource that drains quickly. When you form and maintain good habits, it pays off for the long term. Your self discipline gets stronger, you are capable of working for longer periods and your productivity increases.

Make it fun

Nobody likes tasks. Tasks are boring. There are things we need to do or have to do and sometimes only thinking about it brings us bad energy and we don't even want to start dealing with it. Try to transform every task into a game or find an idea to make it fun. Cleaning the house with your favorite music it's full volume in the background is a great example.

Yep, getting started is the hardest point. That's funny that very often the start of doing something is the hardest thing.
