I think I wrote a few months ago, we lost our dog to cancer back in February. I feel your loss. A few months before that, we lost our second son to a senseless traffic accident. The last year has really sucked for my wife and I. About two months ago, we got a new dog as an effort to fill the gaping chasm in our hearts. It's nice to have a five-month-old puppy to help heal the wounds, but nothing but a hell of a lot of time - if even that - will ever close the hole left by our son's passing. Sigh ...
