How I spent my weekend

Hello everyone! First of all I want to thank you for such a great response on my introduction-post! Wow! I never expected to receive that kind of feedback. Again, thank you!

This weekend my family and I rented a cabin on an island not far from where we live. We were very lucky with the weather. Yes, we Norwegians talk a lot about the weather. It doesn't matter if the sun is shining or if it's raining "cats and dogs", we always talk about it. The West Coast of Norway have more rainy days than sunny days, so when the sun peeks out for just a second we have to talk about it. It's actually kind of funny, but a good conversation starter.

Anyway, my parents and I went fishing Friday evening but we only managed to catch a few small fish so my dad yelled "go get your grandfather!" as he released it back in to the ocean. Well it didn't.

Anyway, that doesn't matter, I just love spending time with my family and the summer feeling I get from fishing. Just sitting there enjoying the sun and the fresh air.

Saturday we bought 22 crabs and invited the rest of our family to dinner. We had such a great time. Hot dogs for the children and crabs for the adults. A great weekend!

I'm traveling to a nearby zoo with my sister and my nephews tomorrow, so that should be fun. I'll be taking a lot of photos.
