I learned a new word!
I watched EPISODE 4: Asia's Next Top Model Season 5. And I learned from Yu Tsai, the AsNTM's fashion photographer, the word, FLAWSOME. He taught this to Alicia Amin during a photoshoot. She was having issues with her hips because they're bigger and curvier and was asking how she should pose. And he responded with this:
There's a word flawsome they use in top model. What does that mean?

That's right! Embrace your flaws. And, then own it! Make it awesome.
Flawsome is...
Flawsome as coined by Tyra Banks is used to describe something that is awesome because of its flaws. Self-acceptance is the strong attitude of being flawsome. Moreover, according to the Urban Dictionary, flawsome is something that is totally awesome, but not without it's flaws. I definitely agree with this definition. The flaws people have makes them unique. They are who they are because of those flaws and they're amazing because of these imperfections.
Many people have insecurities.
There are a lot of people who doubt themselves because of their frailty and flaws. I was one of those many, before. Well, I was always slender in my younger years. Then, I came to love eating and I grew bigger. My friends and family often tell me that I'm fat, that I should exercise, and shouldn't eat too much. It hurt me. But I learned to just rebut them by saying, "I'm still beautiful, though." I, too, want to return to that rocking body but I don't beat up myself on being a plus-size and chubby. I am what I am and I accept myself. And I believe I am awesome. You, too! You who's uneasy and agitated about your flaws is very beautiful, too. You're ravishing! You're awesome!
