While Delhi is the political capital of India, the city of Mumbai is the financial capital of the country. every city has its own character. The city of Mumbai with a population of more than 22 millions (which is more that the population of Australia) is a city that never sleeps. Mumbai also happens to be the capital of the state of Maharashtra.
Mumbai is the home to a lot of financial institutions and Corporates. It is a city always on the move, a city that never sleeps. Mumbai is also home to Bollywood, the hindi film industry.
Mumbai falls on the western coastline of India and has many beaches. One of the most popular beaches is Juhu beach.
In January 2014 my family and I wanted to visit the the holy shrine of Sai baba in Shirdi. There is no direct flight to Shirdi, so we took a flight to mumbai and from mumbai airport took a cab to Shirdi. On the way back we took a break in Mumbai. We visited a few places including Juhu beach.
On arrival you are greeted by the golden status of Shivaji Maharaj who was a great Maratha warrior King.
Once you enter the beach you find it massively crowded even on a weekday.
