Seriously, I hate the Friday night crash. While other people are out partying or spending times with their friends, I am pooped and ready to go to bed by 9:00 AM. I have no idea why at the end of the week why this happens. Is their something wrong with my diet or the way I am getting sleep.
When I was in my 20s, Friday night was usually a party night. By my 30s, I spent most Friday in a AA/NA meeting. Now, I cannot even go to the meetings now because I am too pooped.
Sometimes, it has to do with not eating food until 7:30 PM. It is just too hard to sit down in eat a good meal and to go to a meeting on Friday night. And trying to make a Friday night concert! My answer is forget about it!
It is probably because I refuse to move to LA, prefer to have 2.5 hour commute on train and bus, and having job that demands a lot of brain power during the week. The cumulative effect occurs on Friday night and I just do not win. And I am not going to change my behavior. I am just not. There is a little doxie that I love to death where I live and if I move, I will probably not being living with a dog. So I make the commute just so I can continue to live with the Doxie who is my little buddy. Yeah, it sucks on Friday night, but overall I am probably very happy and content, even it comes at a cost.
I don't really party anymore either. Hugs.
