My ankle's in pain! Icing itsteemCreated with Sketch.

We have two sheds. There has always been a lot of "pig weed" growing rampant between them. This year I put some lumber wrap (i.e., tarps) down between them, with logs holding them down from the wind.

Yesterday I took a small folding saw out, to deal with some vines beyond the second shed. Then I worked my way forward, clearing up to the middle, and then decided to clear that area.

I removed the lumber wrap, and took down two large trees and probably five smaller ones. Plus a ton of vines, several of which were thicker than that largest tree!

I did all that with the folding saw, which meant a lot of squatting, and my ankle's paying for it today.

Later, I finished with the electric chainsaw, taking the limbs off and then cutting them into logs. Had I set out to clear that area, I probably would have started with the chainsaw sooner, at the sacrifice of a lesser workout.

It's so much clearer out there! The garden is beyond the sheds, so each morning's walk going out to water, it is much brighter! :)

I'll heal, and the space will stay clear (perhaps a garden next year?), so it's a win. :) Cheers all!

Come on, get some Nano Silver (colloidal silver) mixed with Turmeric on it, rub it in -helps with the swelling and pain. May leave a slight yellow tint for a day or two - but I tell you its worth it

I do have some colloidal silver; I purchase the brand Sovereign Silver, from Amazon. Haven't used it as a rub yet; will give it a shot!

sorry for the pain.quite a busy day for you.

Take care :) @libertyteeth

Thanks! :)

hope we see ur results soon @libertyteeth sir

Yes it is a win for you. Congratulations. Hard work is good.

Sorry for the ankle pains. Get well soon.

No pain no gain... sounds like a lot of work. You're a winner! Steem symbol could double as icy cold symbol in this case!

Nice! I have been icing it; just pulled the weeds from around the garden fence, which was a lot of squatting, so it's in pain again now. Will need to water the garden in an hour or so, so I'll ice it after that.

Nice post and i like post you i follow you @libertyteeth

I am imagining the space with no pics :)

Cool, do you live on a farm? What's that like? I hope you have a great day. Upvoting and Resteeming and Following you!

No we have less than an acre here, and only a small part of that the garden is on; the fence is around 50' x 60'.

I'm recovering from multiple concussions (have made a few posts about them), and can no longer develop software, which I did for my career and was very good at. So now I'm gardening while recovering which is very helpful -- I get to spend time in the sun, and watch the growing process and progress, and when it's done I'll get something nice to eat!

And, having found Steemit, I can share what I'm doing which has worked out nicely -- I'm gaining some followers, learning some video/audio skills, and as I invested the account, am able to pretend I'm a whale. :)

(Oh, and one of the reasons I'm replying to this so late, is the concussions; the symptoms sometimes keep me away from something for a while, but I want (for whatever reason) that 30-day-posting badge so I'm making a post every day, even if I haven't checked my Replies tab for, now, five days...)

Thanks, how did you get the concussions?

First was a car accident; then a board fell on my head at home; then I hit my head on the top of a doorframe which was too short for code (a cellar door, as we were moving out about six months ago).

How far apart were these incidents?

The second was a year and a half after the first; the third was a little less than a year and a half after the second. The third was about six months ago.

OK, must have been pretty traumatic. How did you manage to recover emotionally?

I don't think I have. Every day is a struggle. More than I want to preserve on the blockchain. Cheers.
