The second children's railway in the world.

Good afternoon dear reader. Today I want to acquaint you with one more unique corner in the beautiful Globa park - it is the first children's railway in Ukraine, the second in the USSR and in the world.

Добрый день дорогой читатель. Сегодня хочу познакомить Вас еще с одним уникальным уголком в красивейшем парке Глобы - это первая детская железная дорога в Украине, вторая в СССР и в мире.

The road was designed only by children, and the final project was approved by the Komsomol members of the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Transport Engineers. Support in construction was provided by the Dnepropetrovsk locomotive repair plant. The construction of the railway began in the spring of 1936 and was completed in the same year on July 6. So quickly built because the Komsomol subbotniks were organized.

Дорогу проектировали только дети, а окончательный проект был утвержден комсомольцами Днепропетровского института инженеров транспорта. Поддержку в строительстве оказал Днепропетровский паровозоремонтный завод. Строить железную дорогу начали весной 1936 года и закончили в этом же году 6 июля. Так быстро построили потому, что были организованы комсомольские субботники.

The road is located in the central part of the park around the pond, along the main alley of the park, and two tunnels with a length of 10 and 30 meters were built to pass the road line. The railway has one Pionerskaya station. There is a waiting room at the station, a cashier, a station attendant.

Дорога располагается в центральной части парка вокруг пруда, рядом на возвышенности проходит главная аллея парка и для пропуска линии дороги были построены два тоннеля, протяженностью 10 и 30 метров. Железная дорога имеет одну станцию Пионерская. На станции есть зал ожидания, касса, дежурный по станции.

On the railway, everything is really beautiful comfortable carriages.

На железной дороге все по настоящему - красивые удобные вагоны.

There is a train schedule.

Есть расписание движения поездов.

There is a price list for prices for children's and adult tickets.

Есть прейскурант цен на детские и взрослые билеты.

The railway is served by children. For this, there are training classes and there from November to April there are classes for young railway workers. More than 750 young railway workers, residents of the city of Dnepr and its suburbs are working and studying on the children's road.

Железную дорогу обслуживают дети. Для этого есть учебные классы и там с ноября по апрель проходят занятия для юных железнодорожников.
Всего на детской дороге работает и учится более 750 юных железнодорожников, жителей города Днепр и его пригородов.
