Busy with setting up my development environment and preparing for a wings competition this weekend, I forgot to get Solar Eclipse viewing glasses. I went to Home Depot and 7-11 but they were both sold out. Being somewhat doleful about missing a celestial event I continued my drive to my favorite coffee shop to get some work done.
A few minutes ago a gentleman walks into t he cafe and announces "I have four pairs of Solar glasses here if anyone wants to see the eclipse. "
I ecstatically get up from my seat ready to ask how much he was charging, but much to my surprise he was simply loaning them out to patrons. Needless to say my late morning/late afternoon has been made. :)
One never knows when the good karma will be repaid. I am very thankful.
