I got this Jade plant (Crassula Ovata) few weeks ago. It started showing some troubles in the first few days and on closer inspection i found there was a small invasion mealybugs on it. I've not succesfully owned many plants before, I had some chillies few years ago and even setup a little hydroponics system and did manage to grow some, but thats about it. I'm trying to keep this one alive though and learn some stuff on the go.
Above is the plant as i got it. I removed the bugs and ended up doing some heavy pruning aswell. So i was left with all this stuff that could be propagated for new plants. The bugs are in the coin case. i caught one on videobefore.
Here we are today. There is new brances coming up and i think its doing allright. I got some new soil and replanted this and the bigger cutting in pots that i used to have for my habaneros, and put few of the trimmings in the container this came with originally.
So that's about that. A lot of new green stuff popping up which is nice.
