Me too!

The weather is wet, damp and horrible. Your neighbour has an annoying puppy that barks non-stop. Your ashamed of your crappy apartment and don't ever want someone to come visit you.

So, that all happened to me in May 2009. I thought if I can blog and trade cryptos from anywhere, then why the hell am I stuck here?

The problem was though is where do I go? At that time my girlfriend was Polish, so I picked Poland knowing nothing of the Polish lifestyle. My girlfriend would gloat about the great Summers there, the lovely forests, the cheap price of living etc etc. So, after that I said "Stop right there, were moving there right now!"

And so my Polish love affair began. I packed up my Honda Jazz car and we drove the 1300 miles from Scotland to Krakow. We travelled to Poland via a car ferry to Amsterdam and a MONSTER drive across Europe..(that is a post for another day!!)

3 weeks later we are staying in our own small apartment (granny flat) next to her mothers house in Krakow, and were all very happy. The price of everything is cheap too (cigarettes are £2.50/$3 a pack and a meal out for the both of us costs just £6/$8)

And now, its 2016. Its another fine October day here in Poland. There’s a nice local breeze, and I’m thinking about popping to a local vodka bar for lunch. It beats that barking puppy and the damp crappy British weather anyday!
