i think i found the jackpot of all irises today! i was walking around campus today just to find this is a dark blue specie iris!
isn’t it just so beautiful? the midnight blue of the petals mixed in with a tinge of yellow that could remind you of the shining moon— it’s just so spectacular!
honestly, this might be my absolute favorite of any iris i’ve stumbled upon, seeing this iris is like a true diamond in the rough!
