I have always wondered what was Europe , in Africa it is the Renaissance monument, in Asia it is a temple, in the middle east the Burj Khalifa is classified as a monument and in America the Statue of Liberty I presume. In Europe the largest monument is Volkerschaltdenkmal or the Colossal stone monument. It was completed in 1918 is a rememberance of a battle/war that took place 100 years earlier between Napoleon with allies and united armed forces Prussia,Austria,Russia and Sweden. The battle had included over 20 countries. During the world war this monument was left standing due to Russia and Germany fighting together. This monument marks Napoleons surrender.
The inside is almost even more interesting... Btw it is called Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
