Can you remember that in one of my older posts I spoke about how I almost gave myself a concussion in a bath? Well it almost happened again today, but this time, on my bed...
So we had fitness training at Hockey today, this meaning that my muscles are in pain!!! Mainly because I haven't trained that hard in about 4 months, but anyway, during fitness we all struggled to finish but we did, then came the pain, during the session. I had decided to work through it because it wasn’t that bad. Eventually the pain had gone down and I could continue the practice in ‘Peace’.
As I started to walk to the car the pain had started to return, just about 10000 times worse, Fun right!! NOT!! I was dieing of pain and couldn’t wait to get home, lye down on my bed and just relax, also NOT!!, I got a nice warm hug from a cramp, it struck so fast that I almost ended up knocking myself out on a wall, This cramp, I recently discovered that its also called a Charlie Horse... this cramp lasted at least 15 minutes, then my mom ran a bath for me to warm up my muscles, the only thing running through my head was the last time I got a cramp, this was when my leg was broken and I got a cramp in the bath, launching myself into the other side of the bath. I have now learned my lesson, STRETCH BEFORE AND AFTER A SESSION but properly, I I stretched after the fitness workouts but obviously not properly...
One more thing, remember:
NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
