This is an issue that has affected us the young ones in a very negative way. My system have adjusted to reading short posts and most times not reading at all. one of the good things steemit is doing in my life right now is that I'm now able to read long posts with the hope of dropping a good comment so that it'll be upvoted and replied. This went on to the extent that I no longer read my books but instead watched tutorial videos. But one bad thing about the internet is that it has a lot of interesting things and you can easily drift off your mission if you're not careful. I've practiced your 3rd an 5th tips and I can testify that they're very helpful. I watched the film things fall apart before reading the novel and I did not believe the speed with which I finished the novel. I'm gradually falling in love with my books again and it's a big credit to steemit. Thanks for the tips and I look forward to testify the rest of the tips when I try them out.
