It's been cold here in the Northeastern part of the US. I live in northern New Jersey, so snow still lay on the ground and houses are still covered white. The recent snow storm was harsh, but we're holding strong. As you should be, my Steemian friends.
Today, I went to visit my grandmother, as I normally do after work, and noticed something sparkle out the corner of my eye. I continued my routine initially passing this bush to later investigate upon my exit.
I walk towards the corner of the building to see the typical bare shrubbery, but there was something different.
It was a lone and nearly bare scrub. To my surprise not only was it covered with icicles, but some of the branches seemed to be Frozen to the Core.
I saw Strength and Beauty.
I saw Magnificence.

It will be gone by Sunday, Mid 40's tomorrow 50's for the weekend plus next week. The last storm yesterday started at rain hence the ice on the trees. Had small icicles onmy car and saw it on others. Natures way of protecing the shrubs. But they become brittle in the cold. Sharp photo by the way.

It's N.J. got a love it.. In July we will complain about the hot and humid ! But at least we can enjoy it with pictures and good laughs. we get 4 good seasons here that is for sure.
