In the North of Russia on the border with Finland is the legendary city built in the 18th.
century
It's the second most popular city in Russia among tourists after Moscow.

One of the largest museums in the world and my most favorite is the Hermitage. The collection of the Hermitage has about 3 million exhibits.

Among them 12 556 sculptures.

Petersburg is inseparable from its suburbs as Paris from Versailles.

Summer in Petersburg there is a surprising natural phenomenon of the white nights. Don't forget as Saint Petersburg is the Venice of the North. Come and see it with your own eyes!

Thank you for posting this! It is my dream to visit St. Petersburg, to see the Hermitage, to watch the Mariinsky Ballet (preferably Swan Lake), to see Petershof and the surrounding countryside, the Winter Palace, Summer Garden, Palace Square, etc. I recently read a biography of Catherine the Great and it made me want to visit even more!
