Stop Sexually Abusing a 7 years old angel

in life •  7 years ago

most precious thing in this world is the life of a human being. It becomes even more precious when you talk about the life of a child who is just 7 years old.

I am very ashamed and sad to share a recent news from Pakistan where a 7 Years old adorable child was abducted, raped, murdered and then thrown to a garbage heap. Her name was Zainab.

My motive is not to disgrace my country or its reputation among the whole world, being a Pakistani Citizen it is a matter of utter shame for me but just want to make you aware and take care of your children and the surrounding you are living in.

What happened to Zainab will make you lose your faith in humanity. There are no words to express this unthinkable act of brutality.

Zainab, 7, had gone to a religious tuition center near her house in the Road Kot area last Thursday (Jan 4) from where she is believed to have been abducted. Her parents had been in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah (the lesser pilgrimage), according to her family, and she had been living with a maternal aunt.

Soon after her abduction, her panicked family had received footage showing her walking with a stranger near Peerowala Road.

On Tuesday, a police constable deputed to trace the girl recovered her body from a heap of trash near the Shahbaz Khan Road.

A first information report had been registered against the disappearance of the girl on Jan 5, with the victim's paternal uncle as the complainant in the case. Murder charges were added to the FIR on Jan 9, after the victim's body was recovered.

Protests break out
The recovery of Zainab's body on Tuesday had ignited protests and a shutter-down strike in the city.

As word got around, traders shuttered their shops and staged a protest demonstration. Scores of other people also gathered at Steel Bagh Mor near the hospital and protested with the girl's body in the middle of the road. They also threw traffic out of gear by burning tyres on Ferozepur Road and chanted slogans against police and local parliamentarians for their alleged apathy.

People from other parts of the country took to social media to share their anger and outrage over the murder using the hashtag #JusticeForZainab.

Officials Response

Celebrities Response

Not only the known personalities of the country but whole nation was sad and in shock.
On Social media, posts were being written for the justice of innocent Zainab.

It was unbelievable for everyone to even consider something like this could happen.

Missing person FIR registered on Jan 5, a day after the girl went missing

There is nothing which can undo this act but we can punish that culprit and make him an example for other too if someone even dares to think about this barbaric act.

This incident also gave voice and courage to so many other girls who have been victim of sexual molestation in their childhood and they were not ashamed of sharing that with the public.

Nadia Jamil, Frieha Altaf and Maheen Khan, also took to Twitter and shared their accounts of sexual abuse and called for a change to take place so that the perpetrators of this act are punished.

In a series of tweets, Nadia wrote

I was 4 the first time I was abused sexually. I was in college when it blew out of proportion.
People tell me not to talk to respect my families honour. Is my families honour packed in my body? I am a proud, strong, loving survivor. No shame on me or my kids. Only pride 4 being me

Similarly, model turned choreographer and event manager Frieha Altaf, also shared her experience on Twitter, where she wrote

I was sexually abused by our cook at age 6. My parents took action but everyone remained silent as if it was my shame. At 34 I realised how it had impacted my life.the only shame is keeping SILENT #ChildAbuse #shame #NoMoreChildAbuse #MeToo #JusticeForZainab #HowToStopChildAbuse
— Frieha Altaf January 14, 2018

Fashion designer Maheen Khan also wrote her story in a tweet which read

#childabuse #saynotochildabuse #metoo The Maulvi(Religious teacher) who came to teach me the Quran abused me sexually .I froze in fear day after day .
Share in support of children subjected to the sick acts ..by so-called custodians of our religion
— Maheen Khan. January 14, 2018

After reading their tweets and doing more research on child molestation I will like to say

Girls, being a boy I am ashamed of what we men do to you. This is nonsense and unbearable. No one should be ever allowed to anything like this to anyone. If someone ever does this to you, please raise your voice and don't be silent.
I literally have tears in my eyes at the moment of writing this down and just thinking what had been her condition. While being raped and tortured she must have called the God almighty but nothing happened.

I just pray her parents get justice and nothing like this happens to anyone. I pray you all are safe there and protecting your children.:60
