Jim Bakker the fallen televangelist, is touting cabins to survive the end of days. The cabins he is selling are located in Missouri's Ozark Mountains. He says that they are in the safest spot for the Apocalypse.
He claims that god (I intentionally did not capitalize as I don't believe he talks to the same God as in the bible), told him to move here. He cites that NASA has done extensive research and found this area is the safest spot.
He and his wife (now wife) Lori are still hosting a TV televangelist show. They were pushing the cabins and survival water. The costs of the cabins was not disclosed but a six pack of 'Extreme Survival Warfare' water was priced at $150. I'm sure it comes complete with some indulgences.

Back in the 70s, Jim was then married to Tammy Faye and they hosted a televangelist program called 'The PTL Club'. It ran until 1987 when he was exposed for fraud and a sex scandal. Jessica Hahn outed him, she accused him of manipulating her into having sex in 1980 while she was employed as the church secretary. He was ultimately convicted in 1989 on 24 counts of wire and mail fraud. He served 5 years in prison, during that time Tammy Faye filed for divorce.
Now seriously, why would God tell this charlatan how to escape his wrath. This area may have been deemed to be the safest place to survived but living near Jim doesn't seem to be all that safe. You might consider buying some of the water, it must be good for that price.
